Keshet Int’l and Krempelwood to co-fund Perpetual’s Disaster Decoded
Disaster Decoded explores some of the world’s most devastating catastrophes and the impact they have had on how we understand risk, safety and survival. The series revisits events including the 2004 Boxing Day tsunami, Hurricane Katrina and the disappearance of Flight MH370.
The project marks the first collaboration between KI and Krempelwood, with the two companies deficit financing the series. KI will shop Disaster Decoded to buyers at Mipcom next month.
Brokered with the help of Marmalade Sky TV, the four-way funding pact builds on KI’s existing relationship with Perpetual Entertainment, which previously produced Hitler’s Treasure Hunters as part of the distributor’s Greenlight: Factual and Formats commissioning initiative.
