Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) UK & Ireland Appoints Krempelwood to secure Advertiser Funding across its programming portfolio
Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) UK, a division of Viacom Inc (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), has appointed leading AFP specialists Krempelwood to the task of securing advertiser funding for programmes across its portfolio of music, comedy and kids channels including MTV, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon brands.
Krempelwood will be tasked with developing and selling fully integrated media and rights packages in exchange for production funding and are currently working on securing brand partners for MTV UK’s Alexa Chung fronted music and entertainment series, Gonzo, and the channels coverage of summer-long Balearic gigs at Ibiza Rocks.
The appointment signals VIMN’s commitment in the UK to delivering new funding models for original programme commissions whilst seeking to work more closely with brands looking to communicate with young adults in a much more engaging and savvy fashion.
